Why choose stainless steel bakeware?
Stainless steel bakeware is a practical option for everyday baking, especially if you’re looking to move away from coated baking pans. Our range is made without non-stick coatings, so there’s no coating to chip, peel or flake with use. It’s durable, dishwasher safe and designed to be reached for again and again.
What can you bake in stainless steel?
Pretty much everything you already bake. Our stainless steel bakeware range includes muffin pans, loaf pans, brownie pans, cake tins, biscuit pans, baking trays, donut pans and cooling racks. Whether you’re making school snacks, sourdough, Sunday brownies or a birthday cake, you can choose the shape and size that suits the way you actually cook.
Is stainless steel bakeware non-stick?
Stainless steel is naturally uncoated, so it works a little differently to traditional non-stick bakeware. With a little preparation, you can get great release from your pan. Depending on what you’re baking, that might mean greasing the surface, using baking paper or simply allowing your baked goods to cool slightly before removing them. Once you know a few simple tricks, baking with stainless steel quickly becomes second nature. Read more about how to prevent food from sticking to stainless steel here.
If you’re replacing old bakeware, there’s no need to overhaul the whole cupboard at once. Start with the pan you use most, then build your collection as existing pieces need replacing. Buy better, use it often and keep it for longer.
