We know some have more movement than others. Is it ideal? No but it's unfortunately part of the way a flat piece of steel works. These trays are only 1 sheet of stainless steel - not tri ply like a saucepan so there is no reinforcement due to the style and manufacturing process

We tend to forgive them for their misbehaviour from time to time as they are a clean and safe way to cook, much nicer than alternatives and so easy to clean
