Your freezer favourites are finalists in the 2026 Clean and Conscious Awards

Some things are worth doing year after year, and for us, it’s most definitely the Clean and Conscious Awards. Those who have been following our journey for a while will know how important these awards have been for us. They not only recognise the hard work that goes into product design, sourcing and testing, but they also shine a light on brands that are genuinely trying to do things differently.

For many people, the awards have become a trusted place to discover products and businesses that prioritise transparency, thoughtful materials and a more conscious approach to everyday living.

So when we got the call that TWO of our freezer favourites have been named as 2026 Clean and Conscious finalists, we were pretty excited

Drum roll... Our 2026 finalists are:

Why the Clean and Conscious awards are so special to us

One of the reasons these awards mean so much to us is that they’re not based on popularity.

Products go through a detailed review process before they even reach the finalist stage. From there, they’re tested and assessed by a judging panel that looks at everything from ingredients and materials to performance, transparency and overall value.

It’s a thorough process, and one I’ve come to appreciate even more because this year marks my seventh year as part of the judging panel.

Being invited back each year is something I never take for granted. It’s also given me a unique perspective on what goes on behind the scenes. Having seen the process from both sides, I can tell you the standards are high. Every finalist has earned its place there.

Which makes this recognition feel even more meaningful. See all the 2026 Clean and Conscious finalists here.

Why this still matters to me

Back when I started The Low Tox Project, awards weren’t on my radar. I was simply trying to find products I felt comfortable bringing into my own home.

It started with something as simple as reading the ingredients on a packet of baby wipes and realising I didn’t understand half of what I was looking at. Like most new parents, I went down a bit of a rabbit hole. I started reading labels, researching materials and looking more closely at the products we used every day.

And, like so many people in our community, I just wanted to make more informed choices.

What began as a personal search eventually became a Facebook Group. That group grew into a community of more than 17,000 people asking similar questions, sharing ideas and helping each other navigate the sometimes overwhelming world of low tox living.

Somewhere along the way, it also became a business. Today, every product we create is still guided by the same principle that started all of this: creating products we’re genuinely proud to use in our own homes. That’s why recognition like this feels so rewarding. Not because of the award itself, but because it reflects the values that inspired this business in the first place.

A little look back at 2025

These aren’t flashy products. They’re not the products that usually steal the spotlight, but they’re often the ones people tell us they couldn’t live without. The containers you reach for every day. The ones that get packed, unpacked, washed and used again.

Seeing those products recognised was a wonderful reminder that simple, practical products still matter. Curious about last year’s results? You can read more about them here.

Thank you for being part of the journey

Whether these products take home an award or not, we’re incredibly grateful to be recognised alongside so many wonderful brands.

And we’re even more grateful to the community that continues to support us, ask questions, share ideas and cheer us on along the way. Thanks for being our village!
