AusMumpreneur Awards Finalists have been announced for 2025
We are officially in our awards era – and don’t mind us if we take a moment to enjoy it.
The Low Tox Project has been named a finalist in not one, but two AusMumpreneur Awards:
- The Sustainability Award; and
- The Rising Star Award.
It’s an honour, of course. But more than that, it feels like a quiet moment to pause and say… this whole thing? It started with a baby wipe.
Back in 2017, Corrine, our founder, science grad, and change management specialist, was changing her son’s nappy when she flipped over the packet of wipes and noticed ingredients she couldn’t ignore. From there, a cascade of questions followed. What else were we putting on our kids? In our homes? In our kitchens? And what could we do differently?
Not finding all the answers straight away, she started a Facebook group to figure it out with others. It grew – quickly. And so did the movement.

Why we care about these awards
The AusMumpreneur Awards celebrate mums in business who are carving out their own path and creating impact – not just profits. They shine a light on the juggle, the grit, and the slow, thoughtful growth that often happens behind the scenes.
For us, being recognised in the Sustainability category is incredibly important. We are proud to offer real alternatives to coated bakeware or disposable kitchenware. We create products that are simple, sturdy, made from food-grade stainless steel, and built to last.
The Rising Star nomination is a personal one. It’s also very special, because while the brand is still under three years in, Corrine's journey started long before, with questions, with community, with listening. And we couldn’t be more honoured to be in this category.
Our origin story
By the time we launched the store in 2022, the community had been around for five years. We weren’t guessing what people wanted, we were building it together.
You told us you couldn’t find a muffin pan that wasn’t coated. One that didn’t peel, scratch or leach. So Corrine went looking. That pan became our flagship product (and still sells out with waiting lists in the hundreds).
From there, things grew. We added cake tins. Oven trays. Pizza pans with just the right crisp factor. And now – lunchboxes, cups, canisters, and the kind of products you can feel good about using every day.
But we’ve never rushed it. We’ve built slow, steady, and intentionally, choosing function over flash, listening over loud marketing, and values over volume.
How we’re making a difference
We’re not here to sell you 47 ways to “detox your life.” We’re here to offer a small, practical shift, one that fits into your everyday.
We make low-tox living easier to start, not harder to perfect.
That’s why we focus on stainless steel – and make sure our products are:
- Free from coatings
- Easy to use (and even easier to clean)
- Built to last for years, not seasons
It’s also why we keep showing up with support, product guides, honest answers, and a community that’s grown far beyond a Facebook group.
The winners will be announced at the AusMumpreneur gala night on the 12th August.
